PRP for Hair Loss
Hair loss is usually treated with PRP in three steps. PRP therapies usually require three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. To maintain and improve results, treatments are required every four to six months.
Getting started
Blood is drawn from your arm and placed in a centrifuge, a machine that spins rapidly to separate fluids of different densities, especially in your blood.
Step 2
Within ten minutes of being spun in a centrifuge, your blood will be separated into three layers:
Platelet-Poor Plasma, Platelet-Rich Plasma, Red Blood Cells
Step 3
An injection of platelet-rich plasma is administered into areas of the scalp that require stimulation to increase hair growth.
